INT-9758 SECL / DECL CONVERTER

OVERVIEW

The INT-9758 accepts eight single ended ECL (SECL) inputs and an SECL clock via front panel connectors. Typically these inputs are the I and Q rails representing a symbol stream of a digital PCM radio system. Each input rail is then scrambled, descrambled or passed through unchanged to eight SECL output BNC connectors on the front panel. These same eight outputs and the clock are also made available in differential ECL format (DECL) via the rear panel VRDI connector. The unit also provides two independent SECL to DECL converter channels and two independent DECL to SECL converter channels via rear panel connectors. Finally, the unit provides test data rail and test clock SECL outputs via front panel connectors. These may be used in lieu of external input signals to perform a self-test of the unit.
